| Brush fire that started in LA City Fire 91's area on the 13000 block of Sayre Street in Sylmar. It proceeded to burn west to the 5 freeway and eventually north to the 14 freeway and San Fernando road in Santa Clarita. The fire destroyed the most homes reported in one fire in Los Angeles County, which included 480 home at the Oak Ridge Mobile Home Park. Los Angeles County Fire Department, Los Angeles City Fire Department, Ventura County Fire Department and CalFire along with Local Agencies helped to contain this brush fire. |
