The Station Fire started on September 9, 2009 and burned for more than a month with containment on October 16. The fire started on Highway 2 in La Canada near the USFS Angeles Crest fire station and burned north reaching Action. The cause of the fire was determined to be arson. Two Los Angeles County Fire Department firefighters were killed fighting the blaze. Numbers
