The Galton Fire started on 6/27/2011 at about 4:30 pm on Galton Road cross Esguerra Road in Saugus (108's first in). A pickup truck overheated on the dirt Galton Road and quickley spread to the brush. Firefighters qot quick containment on the fire and kept it under 1 acre in size.

The Los Angeles County Fire Department handled the fire with the following:
Engine 108, Engine 111, Squad 111, Water Tender 73, Battalion 22 and USFS Engine 31
