Prescribed Burn & Wildland Training in Morro Bay State Park
 

    Mountain Recreation Conservation Authority (MRCA) along with California State Parks conducted a prescribed burn to help get rid of dead trees in the area. In addition to help clear dead brush, the MRCA utilized these prescribed burns for training. In addition to the MRCA, a Type-II Crew from the Angeles National Forest and a Type-II Crew from thw San Bernardino National Forest also participated in the training.
    The MCA took up two Engines, two Patrols, and three Crews, one crew being from their explorer program.
